The Number One reason that Law of Attraction affirmations don’t work is because of negative thoughts. Regardless of what we might write down or what our intentions may be, negative thoughts that continue to plague our daily mind will derail any progress with the Law of Attraction. If we cultivate a scarcity mindset, our thoughts and attention will be consumed by the things in our life that we “don’t want”.
For Instance… Lets use money as an example (pretty typical topic for most). We all want more money for various reasons. We might write down that we want to make a certain amount of money by a particular date. That’s a Great Goal! However, lets say we have $1500 in Savings. If we constantly think about that balance, how we’ve got $1500 in the bank and how we hope that the account doesn’t get to Zero. We would be doing our goals a disservice because instead of thinking on the favorable conditions that have the opportunity to bring us more financial freedom. Our mind is concentrated on our account not getting to Zero! Ultimately, because we are focused on what we don’t want… it is exactly what we will get. Eliminate this type of Negative Goal Mindset.
Instead… set a goal for that $1500 Savings account to get to $5,000! Once you have that goal now figure out how you’re going to reach it. Spend all of your time and effort focused on the action and process for you to achieve this goal and it will be yours. Changing our words and our images to what we want versus what we don’t want, will bring the change and help us use the Law of Abundance to manifest our success.
Reason Number Two:
The second reason that Law of Attraction affirmations aren’t working is because we have too many negative people in our lives. If you have someone negative in your ear all day long talking about how bad things are/ how they don’t have this/ how they don’t have that… it’s going to naturally attract your thoughts in that same direction. Having negative people in our lives prevents us from Breaking Free of our daily habits and rituals. Learning to limit your exposure to negative people is key and making the Law of Attraction work for you.
Reason Number Three:
The third reason that law of attraction affirmations aren’t working for you is negative relationships. When you find yourself in a rut in a friendship or relationship it’s time to get rid of it. Negative relationships are very similar to negative people except that in negative relationships both parties might not have bad intentions.
You might have a relationship with someone who’s just in a different part of life than you are. You can have the best friend in the world who loves to go out drinking every night and you have a blast with them but it’s not a relationship that you need right now in your life. We’ve got to be able to identify those friends who are on the same track as us and those who aren’t. Learn to separate from friends who no longer help you reach your goals.

The fourth reason that Law of Attraction affirmations aren’t working for you is that you’re setting your goals too big. Your subconscious mind will reject far-fetched dreams. It’s good to have big dreams but you can’t Bullshit yourself. If your goals are too big your mind won’t be able to connect the dots (so to speak). For this reason it’s good to set realistic goals 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months away then maybe a three-year goal and a five-year goal.
Setting big goals is great but they have to be believable. If you say you want to make a million dollars that’s great but What is going to be the course of action to get you to that million dollars? But if you break the Million dollar goal down into… In 3 months I want to make $10,000. In 6 months I want to make $25,000, etc. These steps can be more actionable. Your mind can figure out how to reach these smaller steps.

The fifth reason that Law of Attraction affirmations aren’t working for you is that your goals are too vague. Similar to reason number four, setting goals that your mind can’t comprehend won’t work. Vague goals will not inspire you to take action in any One Direction. It is important to have very specific goals so that you can break them down into bite-size pieces and actionable steps.
Reason Number Six:
The sixth reason that Law of Attraction affirmations aren’t working for you because you’re not eating right. Diet is a huge factor and how we feel, think and react on a daily basis. If you’re not eating the right food, you have inflammation in your body. That inflammation is going to take away from your happiness and focus. If your body doesn’t feel well it’s hard to focus on the positive change that you’re seeking. When you don’t feel well it’s hard to think positive thoughts. Learn to find a healthy balance in what you are eating. Clean eating will help cultivate a positive mindset and bring the Law of Abundance into your life.

The seventh reason that Law of Attraction affirmations aren’t working for you if you’re not taking care of your health. Feeling good about ourselves is extremely important! Similar to diet, exercise is a huge factor in our daily thinking process. When we work out we release endorphins and feel good hormones in our body. Having a healthy body is critical and having a healthy mind.
We attract what we are… so having a healthy body and mind will help to attract like minded people into your circle. To attract money, success or happiness, it’s important to have a lifestyle that people are drawn to. People are not drawn to out-of-shape, unhappy, non goal-oriented people.

The eighth reason that Law of Attraction affirmations aren’t working is bad sleep habits. Sleep is one of the most important factors determining how we feel on a daily basis. A bad night’s sleep can add to Chronic conditions including muscle soreness, pain and tiredness. If we’re not getting enough sleep it’s hard for us to process our thoughts efficiently. Research shows that lack of sleep effects how we store thoughts and ideas into long term memory as well. Tiredness leads to brain fog and clouded thinking. Making sure we get at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night is huge in having productivity in everyday life.

Developing a plan to practice affirmations on a daily basis is essential in using the Law of Attraction for success. In order to manifest money, success, health and happiness it will take daily practice. Many people give up too quickly when it comes to using the law of attraction. This process takes time and starts from within.
Your thoughts and actions are your vibration in the universe. Similar vibrations are polarized to each other and are drawn to each other. This is how the Law of Attraction works.
